North Park Condo

Renovated condo kitchen by Sunshine Collective Studio featuring gray shaker cabinets, brass hardware, farmhouse sink, marble countertops, white subway tile, open shelving, and a bold terracotta sunburst front door.

A thoughtfully redesigned condo that proves beauty can emerge from the unexpected.

What began as one of my very first projects after design school evolved years later into a full renovation after an unexpected flood impacted the kitchen and adjacent bathroom. Working through construction delays and quick material re-selections, we stayed flexible and intentional throughout the process ultimately creating a space that felt even more refined than originally planned.

The kitchen was reimagined with a larger island to better support gathering and everyday living, especially within the condo’s compact footprint. Every finish was selected to feel elevated yet durable, balancing renter-friendly practicality with warmth and personality. The final result is a home that feels welcoming, functional, and far from generic, designed to stand out while still feeling timeless.

What really sets Kallie apart is how much she brings to a project beyond design. She is incredibly hands on, works directly with contractors, and keeps everything moving smoothly. Having her manage the details, solve problems, and keep things on track saved us a tremendous amount of time and stress and made a noticeable difference in the final result.
